Kiln Dried Logs

Kiln Dried Logs are excellent quality firewood, with a moisture content of less than 20%. Our logs are packaged ready for burning, requiring no further seasoning before use.

BIRCH
Lights quickly, Gets hotter quicker, Thinner logs, More economical than Ash or Oak, Best option for smaller stoves or Pizza Ovens

More dense, Thicker bark and rough to the touch, Takes longer to build temperature, Burns at a higher temperature than Ash, Pleasant aroma

Using Kiln Dried firewood requires less maintainance to keep the logs burning, this is due to the density of the wood. A less dense wood will require frequent ‘top-ups’ to prevent the fire extinguishing.

Kiln Dried Logs are excellent for use all year round. They create the perfect warm atmosphere when used on stoves in the winter and are perfect used outdoors in Chiminea’s or Pizza Ovens in the summer time.
